App Description
Mafia Social Killing Game is an innovate new take on the age old murder mystery game Mafia. There are two special roles, mafia and police. Mafia kills one player at the end of each stage, and police can investigate one player at the end of each stage. The other players are villagers who can vote on who to kick at the end of each stage. The “good guys” win if the mafia is kicked off before they kill everyone.
Game Modes
There are two modes supported by this app:
-Moderator Mode
In this mode, only one person needs the app. This mode is a helper tool to help the moderator of the game keep track of who’s who, the current stage of the game, and who’s still alive/dead.
This is more suitable for in person play, which keeps the traditional story telling and pacing in the hands of the moderator.
-Online Mode (under development)
In this mode, everyone playing needs the app. Each player joins the game room created by the creator, and take actions on their own devices. The moderator doesn’t need to do anything special during the game and in fact may play the game as well. This is more suitable for online play via Zoom, Google Meet, etc.
